  • Reported, write daily and weekly news stories and features on racial inequity in America, with a focus on health disparities, housing, education, and policing. 

  • Dispatched to produce daily and enterprise stories off breaking news events, such as the Buffalo mass shooting, end of affirmative action, and killing of Tyre Nichols.

  • As a fellow, fact-check and research articles for the magazine’s website and print editions. Also report and write breaking news, blog posts, online articles, and enterprise stories on race, inequality, civil rights, and education.

  • As a reporter, report and write stories weekly about how inequality plays out in US society. From 2016 until now, I’ve spearheaded coverage of race, education, and inequality. I guided COVID’s disparate impact coverage. Conducted data analysis for investigative projects on eviction and COVID disparities 

  • Interviewed scholars, authors, and filmmakers for the website and events 

  • Conduct public record requests and compile databases for investigative features.

  • Write reported essays on cultural issues, films, and television shows.
